Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If the guest option is listed on your invite when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding an as intimate event with close friends and family 🤍

Unless your children are listed on your invite when you RSVP to the event, this is an adults only event.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We prefer that all of our guests stay within the semi-formal category of dress. For the ladies, that means a dress or a jumpsuit of some kind. For the gentlemen, slacks and a button down shirt with dress shoes.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather in Hot Springs, AR in May typically ranges between the 70-80 degree points. However, take into account that both the ceremony chapel and the reception venue will both be held in indoor air conditioned facilities.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

We are having our ceremony and reception at two different venues. They are roughly 15 minutes apart. Ceremony: Garvan Woodland Gardens ‘Anthony’s Chapel’ 550 Arkridge Rd. Hot Springs, AR 71913 Reception: Chittum Venue at Forest Lakes 305 Forest Lakes Blvd., Hot Springs, AR 71913

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend to plan to arrive to the ceremony 30-45 minutes before the scheduled ceremony time to allow guests to find parking and make their way to the chapel. There are many signs throughout the garden to follow to the chapel itself. There will be a security officer stationed outside of the chapel to guide and direct any traffic. We would love to start the ceremony promptly at the allotted time!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes, parking at both the chapel and the reception venue will be free. The ceremony venue will have designated lots closest to the chapel itself blocked off for our wedding guests. The reception venue also has a parking lot directly adjacent to the building itself.
