While we recognize that CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL and is affecting the number of sunny perfect days we get, we are planning for the ceremony to be outdoors. If it does rain (or sleet, or snow), the ceremony will be in the Vollmer Center, also located at the Cylburn Arboretum.
Baltimore is an amazing city and we are excited to show you why we love living here. Our wedding is over Memorial Day weekend. Make it a vacation. We invite you to explore the THINGS TO DO page to experience some of our favorite spots in Baltimore.
We are so excited to serve food from Ekiben, a Baltimore-based asian fusion restaurant with a bold fresh take on Japanese and Chinese cuisine. It will be served buffet style, and ingredients will be clearly labeled. There will be options for vegetarians, carnivores, vegans, and gluten-free folks. Please contact us if you have more specific food allergies or preferences.
We are honoring a tradition found in many Asian cultures of the red envelope. Guests place cash into red envelopes to surround the couple with good luck as they start their lives together.
Although that's not a question, it's a sentiment I'm sure many of you feel. Our wedding is structured more or less like other weddings you've been to, except this one will be better styled and sassier. We are excited to celebrate the right to express our love just like everyone else. So the answer is yes, you will probably need some cuter clothes. Make sure it's floral print. K thanks.
We are working on providing shuttles to and from the ceremony. There is ample parking if you want to drive, and there is also robust ride-sharing options in Baltimore.
You are welcome to attend the Friday's Welcome Drinks, the wedding festivities on Saturday, dim sum brunch on Sunday, and a Memorial Day BBQ on Monday. Please RSVP so we can get a headcount. All events are "Buy-your-own". We may also host smaller informal events for specific groups of guests.
Only if you come to the Memorial Day BBQ!
