Lauren and Brandie played soccer together starting when they were about 13 and have been friends ever since. We even threw a “NYE Party” at her house when our parents wouldn’t let us actually go anywhere. And by party, it was just us two putting loud music and the TV countdown on.

Partners in crime since day one. The bond between the two is one of the strongest (and comical) dynamics you’ll ever be around. From cooking dinner with Pop on Christmas to knowing literally every sport analytic there is to know - It wouldn’t make sense for anyone else to be right next to him on this day.

Brandie and Scotti met in 2018 at the Armed Forces Soccer camp. Shortly after camp, Brandie helped Scotti transition over to the Coast Guard after serving in the Marine Corps. Scotti is someone that holds near and dear and is so happy to have her by her side for the wedding!

The bond between David and Daniel also started young. Living right around the corner from each other, they were inseparable. Soccer, basketball, hiking, skiing, camping trips, boys in the neighborhood and everything in between. These two pick up where they leave off every time they meet up!

Friends going back to right after high school, we began playing on the same Women’s team. Brandie’s first game, she made a really good play, Rachel came up and just said “dude, that was sick” and they have been friends since. Ups and downs and all the drama of post high school life, Rachel and Brandie were always there for each other.

Meeting in middle school and continuing their friendship beyond- Aaron was a huge influence on Daniel’s decision to go to Alabama (Can anyone imagine if he hadn’t?) Roommates in college and great friends to this day - they have more stories and inside jokes than anyone can keep up with (except maybe Chase).

This beautiful soul and Brandie met in Key West while she was visiting. She quickly became a dear friend who we all adore.

Common theme here: the bond began young. In Mr. Burst’s class then continuing on into Ms. Rush’s class, Josh and Daniel have been causing trouble and creating memories since Kindergarten! Just see the picture above, these two go way back and have never skipped a beat together.

Heim brother part two! Nick was always part of every adventures with David and Joshua, but it was tough being the younger brother. Never the less, as they grew, the bond grew. Now that they’re both in DC again, they picked up where they left off and continue the friendship on and off the soccer field.
Jack Knowles

The story of Jack and Daniel is one for the books. They both worked at a summer camp. While Jack’s infectious energetic demeanor didn’t mesh right away with Daniel’s introversion, it took being paired up together and 21 Jump Street movie lines for the rest to be history. These two were the coaches every kid hoped they could be with at camp! Now as adults they’re the pair of friends everyone needs around!

Jake has been there from the start. Staying neutral and remaining loyal to both, Jake was the gatekeeper of all the secrets and feelings. Also pivotal in the actual proposal Jekedon is one of our dearest friends and we are both so grateful to have him in our lives and by us on this day.
