Back in 2016, Daniel messaged Bianca on not one... but TWO dating apps. The two talked for a few days about Dave Matthews Band, camping, and other summer activities. Daniel was quick to ask Bianca to dinner, plans were set, and about two hours before Bianca got cold feet and considered bailing. However, her friend's mom overheard and asked to see a picture of the lucky guy she was supposed to go out with that night. As luck would have it, she just so happened to know him and Bianca decided that it must be kismet and she had to go out with him that night! The two met at Kado Sushi in Syosset, and spent hours talking... so much so that when they left, the restaurant was closing! Little did they know that was just the start of their beautiful love story!

From the start of their relationship, Bianca and Dan loved spending time together doing nothing and everything all at once! When their journey first began, the couple would explore new dinner spots like Sanfords in Astoria or Calexico on the UES in search of the perfect date spot. Their favorite activities included binge watching TV series like Game of Thrones and cooking fun new meals together like their world famous lemon chicken. Dan would crash Fire Island Girls Day with Bianca's besties and Bianca knew that Dan's friends were her own after going with them to the Margarita Rumble! In March 2020, they moved to their home and favorite place- Long Beach. Their cozy beach life together is filled with bike rides on the boardwalk, trying new coffee shops, making old favorites for dinner together, planning their next National Park Trip, beach walks when it's warm enough, and racing out to catch the sunset together- no matter the weather.

On Friday April 15th, 2022, the first day of spring break, Daniel asked Bianca to marry him. The proposal occurred at sunset on the Long Beach Boardwalk, complete with their friend Danny- the hidden photographer, beautiful MARRY ME letters that stood above pictures from all their favorite events. Bianca spotted the MARRY ME letters and turned to Daniel who had the biggest grin on his face. Tears of happiness began to roll down her face as Daniel took her hand, and walked her down the ramp that was lit with tea lights and rose petals (decorated beautifully by Bianca's best friends Katie & Mel). When he got on one knee, he shared their favorite saying "Find someone who you enjoy doing nothing with... then spend forever doing everything with them!" With hearts so full, the two celebrated with friends and family all spring break long!
