It is a little confusing. Cocktail attire for our garden wedding means semi-formal, but comfortable enough to enjoy the outdoors. For women, think knee-length, midi, or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or skirts with a nice top - wedges or block heels are great for grass. For men, a suit or dress pants with a blazer and a tie is perfect (jackets can come off if it's warm). Light , breathable fabrics and spring/summer colors are welcome, but please skip jeans, shorts, or very casual shoes.
We would prefer no gift! Your presence at our wedding and/or best wishes are our present. We would like nothing more that to celebrate with you on our special day!
If you are interested , we welcome donations to charities in our name. Some charities that we support are Charity:Water (https://www.charitywater.org/) , The Trevor Project (https://www.thetrevorproject.org/) , Thresholds (https://www.thresholds.org/support-thresholds) and Second Harvest Foodbank of Metrolina (https://www.secondharvestmetrolina.org/). Of course, you are not restricted to this list.
No, Alexander Homestead does not permit overnight parking. They will tow any vehicles left overnight. I've read enough reviews to know they aren't kidding.
