Georgetown, SC- the exact half way point between both of us. Little did we know how much this place would mean to us in the coming years- let alone how much we would be there in the coming months!

We decided to go to GT on the our anniversary spontaneously. We were walking along the boardwalk and saw people coming back from a river cruise. We both looked at each other with a twinkle in our eyes, we had to do it! But that was their last trip of the night. In a mad dash we convinced the owner of the company, the captain, and the crew to take us out on a last minute ride! What we thought would be a 20 minute ride around the harbor turned into an hour of beautiful sights on the river at sun set. On the way back to the dock we had a panoramic view of the park that we meet at and where we danced under the lights on our 1st date. D looked at me and said- "This is it. This is the perfect moment." and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

2 years from the day we met we will be together for the rest of our lives. Come helps us celebrate finding the person who only brings out the best in you. Never in a million years did I think I would be on this crazy adventure (and I know my family can attest to that). Let's make #SoonToBeBlaker official!
