It was the start of freshman orientation. People were busy moving their luggage to their new dorms. Drexel University had an option through the local Hillel organization to move in early. Daniel and Ariel took advantage of this opportunity. We eventually became friends. Before long, we met at the local Chabad for Shabbat dinner on Friday nights. Fast forward five years to Senior Year. Graduation gowns and tassels were being ordered in abundance. Friends were busy planning their futures. Daniel and Ariel were but two of the select few who were planning what to do after graduation. Daniel received the offer of a lifetime to work for Honda. Before he agreed to work for them, Daniel asked Ariel for advice on what to do. Ariel told Daniel to take the position and move to Columbus to start a new chapter. That very same night, Daniel admitted he had a crush on a girl named Ariel. Ariel said OK to a first date. However, tragedy struck. Daniel moved to Columbus, Ohio whereas, Ariel moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to work for a pharmaceutical company. Daniel and Ariel began to do long distance. Eventually, Ariel moves to Columbus, Ohio for a new job. Daniel is beyond overjoyed at this wonderful news because no longer would they have to do long distance. Daniel eventually takes Ariel to all of their first date spots in Pittsburgh. This included the Pittsburgh Zoo, followed by the Duquesne incline. Upon arrival at the Duquesne incline, Daniel proposes overlooking the Pittsburgh skyline. Ariel said yes. Today, Ariel and Daniel are overjoyed at the thought of spending such a special day with all of you.
