We’re Getting Hitched!

We’re getting hitched, and it just wouldn’t be the same without you there! Your presence would mean the world. Tap that sneaky little menu button in the top right corner to RSVP and get all the juicy details! A Note on Guests We love your little ones, but we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax and enjoy the evening with us! Also, due to limited space, please talk to us before bringing a plus one, we appreciate your understanding. P.S. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. Truly. But if you’re feeling generous, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would mean the world to us as we begin this next chapter together. Thank you for your love and support, it means everything.

How the hell did this happen...

Annabel was solo traveling through Asia, devouring questionable street food and pretending to understand local cultures. After a stint in the UK (because who doesn’t want to experience British weather), she decided to book a last-minute European Contiki tour. Meanwhile, Daniel had been grinding away in the UK for what felt like centuries. After a few too many pints at the pub and some peer pressure from his mates he also signed up for the same last-minute Contiki tour. Both surprised they snagged a spot on the last-minute trip, separately they both dragged their backpacks into a London hotel and made a beeline for the bar, craving a well-deserved pint. Annabel, the social butterfly (or maybe just a bored loner), decided to chat with everyone in sight, figuring she’d find someone on her tour. Within minutes, she spotted three very Kiwi-looking lads sitting solo with beers in hand. Feeling a bit homesick, she made her way over, but one of them caught her eye—was it him? Or was it just the rounds of drinks he kept insisting on buying her? After jumping on the bus to the first stop Amsterdam, with a few too many brownies and giggles, Annabel and Daniel ended up at a club. Later, Daniel, nervously walked her back to the hotel. In the elevator, the silence was palpable, and Annabel, tired of waiting, turned to him and said, “So, are you going to kiss me or what?” Daniel nervously leaned in, kissed her, and immediately bolted for his floor. Annabel, left standing there, couldn't help but laugh. After hours of non-stop laughing and talking, the bus—who was clearly not a fan of their chatter—finally reached Germany. Annabel and Daniel clicked like they'd known each other for years. They’d bonded so quickly that by day two, it was clear: they were the ones for each other. Daniel even dropped the "I love you" bomb, because, as he so wisely put it, "When you know, you know." After traveling through 10 more countries, the thought of the trip ending made Annabel and Daniel feel sick—though it could’ve been the endless alcohol consumption catching up with them. Daniel was Annabel’s dream guy, and the thought of him leaving was a nightmare, or maybe just a hangover. Back in New Zealand, Annabel faced the dreaded "What have you been up to?" chat with her parents, which mainly involved explaining how her life now revolved around Daniel and his impressive beer-drinking skills. But a couple of days later, she decided to leave her parents again and fly to Daniel’s home in South Island. It was supposed to be a week-long trip, but she never boarded her return flight. Instead, she figured out how to stay forever. At this point, her parents probably thought she was in witness protection, and Daniel’s family was stuck with a guest who hadn’t exactly planned on leaving. The rest is history: a beautiful baby boy, George, a Rottweiler with *questionable* behavior, and an ever-growing zoo of confused animals. It's chaos, but it's their chaos.
