Please plan to be at the venue by 5:00pm before the ceremony starts. Doors will open for guests at 4:50pm and staff will be there to welcome you. The venue is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and a 25 minute drive from the airport.
Cocktail attire. The wedding party will be wearing sage green, so consider wearing a different color. The bride will be the one wearing white, so keep an eye out!
We have a room block set up at The Westin Cincinnati at a set price, and this is where the bride and groom will be staying along with their wedding party members. However, there are many other hotels and airbnbs in the area. For example, the 21c Museum Hotel is immediately next door to the venue - but a bit pricier.
We would prefer you not take pictures during the ceremony, but during any other time pictures and videos are highly recommended. Please send them to the bride and groom!
Immediately following the ceremony, there will be an open bar for beer/wine and seltzers, along with our two signature cocktails for the rest of the evening. If you would prefer drinking something stronger than that, please bring along some cash!
Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Backstage Event Center. This is an indoor venue and has coat check available. There are two patios available for getting some fresh air!
The Connector is a streetcar that has a fixed route around the best parts of the city which is completely free to ride and is running from 8:30AM - 11:30PM on Saturdays. Check out the "Travel" page for the link to The Connector map! The wedding venue is between stops #17 and #18.
Although we are not hosting a formal after party, Nicholson's Fine Food and Whisky on the first floor of the building will be open until 11:00PM after the reception ends at 10:00PM. If you'd like to stay out later than that, check out the "Travel" page for after party suggestions open until around 2:00AM.
We recommend ice skating at Fountain Square or shopping at Findlay Market along the Connector route. We also love the arts scene including the Aronoff Center, the Cincinnati Art Museum, and the Cincinnati Music Hall. For our sports fans, there are several stadiums nearby for you to explore. There are plenty of breweries like Rhinegeist, Northern Row, or Moerlein Lager House where you can get a good drink or head to the Hard Rock Casino!
