If you’re in the holiday mood then downtown Mount Dora is where to go! Light up Mount Dora is wonderful for an evening stroll or if you have some extra time, then the Christmas light boat tour is a fun and different experience!
Apopka Wildlife Drive
If you want to see some of Florida's natives, then this free drive is for you! From birds, fish, and plants to massive alligators everyone in the car will find something fun to look at! It's only open on the weekends but is well worth time in your trip!
Disney Hotel Hopping
A Christmas tradition is to go to Disney's Grand Floridian hotel and then take the monorail and "hop" to all the other hotels to see how they are all decorated so beautifully and differently! Don't forget to take the fairy over to the Fort Wilderness Lodge and stop for hot chocolate and a yummy, sweet treat!
New Smyrna Beach
We LOVE the beach! A popular place for the day would be New Smyrna but if you are looking for a beautiful sunset spot then Pine Island Park on the gulf coast is the place to go! Also, the place where Daniel proposed!
