Why's the ceremony at a waterfall?

Answer

Appalachia is where Daniel and Aleshia's love story came to life. It is the couples greatest past time, and getting married beneath a waterfall is the greatest way to honor their love story.

What should I wear to the ceremony?

Answer

Dress you're springtime best whether it is your first hike or hundredth, however please be advise to wear flat sandals or tennis shoes for both your comfort and safety. We are asking guest to wear "spring casual" ie sundresses, long skirts and blouses, casual button downs or polos (no t-shirts), and or dress pants or khakis. (no jeans)

What if it rains?

Answer

A rain plan is in place. Please be close to your devices as the day of the event approaches incase alternate plans are communicated via text or phone call.

Question

What should I wear to the reception?

Answer

Formal black tie optional ie floor length gowns or dressy cocktail dresses and or dark suits or formal suits with creative flair. There is a 2 hour window before the start of the reception to allow guest time to travel, rest, and redress prior to the reception diner.

What about the after party?

Answer

After diner, join the bride and groom for cocktail and dancing in the Kimpton's bar and Brasserie "The Katherine"

Where should I stay?

Answer

Most of our out of town guests are staying at the bride and grooms home in Kernersville, however feel free to join Daniel and Aleshia at the Kimpton Cardinal by booking through their website or a third party.
