Alanna and Dan met in November of 2014 while studying for their undergraduate degrees at Chico State University. They first met at the popular bar Riley's after hitting it off on the dating app Tinder! They quickly found out they had many mutual friends in common and were both a part of Greek life on campus. They started hanging out on a daily basis after classes and officially became a couple on February 20th when they had “the conversation” at Dan’s fraternity’s America themed social. :D Following graduation, they dated long distance as they both started their careers. They made many memories and traveled the world together. They explored places like Europe, Colombia, New York and the Bahamas. In September of 2020, they finally were able to make the leap and move in together. Soon after, they got their dog, Willow and started their little family. On October 23rd, 2022 Dan asked Alanna to marry him!! The day could not have been more perfect. Dan set up a surprise proposal on a special Sunday walk with Willow and her parents dog Teddy. They were walking through the garden at Villa Montalvo in Saratoga when Alanna heard Dan say “Hey Alanna”. When she turned around he was on one knee asking her to marry him. She was beyond surprised! Happy tears were shed and she said yes! From there they had a photo shoot with the dogs and then went home to a surprise lunch with Alanna’s family to celebrate. They ended the night with dinner at La Fondue with just the two of them. The day was more magical than they could have ever imagined. As Alanna and Dan begin this next chapter in their lives, they are so excited to celebrate and share such a special moment in time with all the people who have supported them throughout the years!
