Adam and I were friends on Facebook for about a year before I got the nerve up to speak to him. One day I noticed one of Adams post that he wasn’t having the best day and I thought maybe I should reach out to him. After messaging back and forth we decided to meet up for dinner. November 17th, 2014 Adam and I went on our first date to El Toro. Adam and I talked for hours, we didn’t even notice that we were the only people left in the restaurant lol. After that first date we have been inseparable.

Well it was a year in the making. I worked with Adams parents to come up the perfect Proposal. While on vacation to Cancun Adams parents and I setup a romantic dinner for two on the beach at sunset. Saying I was nervous is an understatement. We ate dinner and had a few drinks while we were talking the waiter brought out our dessert, little did Adam know that I had them hide a ring in the dessert. When they placed our covered dessert plates in front of us my heart was beating so fast. As Adam uncovered his plate the words “Will you marry me” were written and the ring was coming out of the dessert, Adams eyes got big and as he looked up at me he had the biggest smile I’ve ever seen. I stood up and walked over to him and bent down to one knee and asked Adam if he would marry me.
