WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

We first met each other in 2016 in Lima, Peru while en route to visit Machu Picchu together. We both have a mutual connection in Daniela's cousin, Claudia, and we all enjoyed one of the marvels of the world together as a group. After the trip, our friendship grew stronger over months of video chats and "spanish lessons." Eventually, our relationship officially began with a trip to Miami to celebrate our shared love for Roger Federer, nearly two year after our first encounter. Nos conocimos en 2016 en Lima, Perú, mientras íbamos a visitar Machu Picchu juntos. Ambos tenemos una conexión mutua en la prima de Daniela, Claudia, y todos disfrutamos juntos como grupo, una de las maravillas del mundo. Después del viaje, nuestra amistad se fortaleció durante meses de videollamadas y "lecciones de español". Finalmente, nuestra relación comenzó oficialmente con un viaje a Miami para celebrar nuestro amor compartido por Roger Federer, casi dos años después de nuestro primer encuentro.

I proposed to Daniela during a horse and carriage ride through a cold, snow covered Central Park in New York City, The carriage stopped at one of the fountains on along the way and we both got out to take pictures of the water. I can't remember if I was shaking from the cold or the nerves, but I got down on one knee and asked "¿quieres casarte conmigo?" Daniela shouted "¡Si!" and we could´t wait to get out of the cold and tell our families. El carruaje se detuvo en una de las fuentes a lo largo del camino y ambos salimos para tomar fotografías del agua. No recuerdo si estaba temblando de frío o de los nervios, pero me arrodillé y pregunté "¿quieres casarte conmigo?" Daniela gritó "¡Si!" y estábamos ansiosos por salir del frío y contárselo a nuestras familias.
