OUR SPECIAL MIX OF DANISH & SLOVAK
1. The breaking of a plate
A classic Slovak wedding tradition that takes place at the entrance of the reception venue. It carries some meanings like "shards bring luck" and showing teamwork to "clean up the mess" as a married couple.

2. Cutting the Groom’s Socks
After the first dance, guests sometimes grab the groom and cut off the tips of his socks. It’s a playful ritual symbolizing that he’s now “off the market,” so no other woman will be impressed by his style.
SK/Strihanie zenichovych ponoziek ako symbol ze uz je zenaty, ved kto by chcel chlapa s deravymi ponozkami?
3. The Kissing Rituals
Clinking Cutlery: If guests clink their cutlery against their glasses, the bride and groom must stand on their chairs and kiss.
Stamping Feet: If guests stomp their feet on the floor, the couple must crawl under the table to kiss.
