The beginning of our story… Noah worked at JFK Hospital, and Daniela worked in construction at the very same hospital—a place that, like our story, had been changing and growing for years. In 2022, Noah stepped into an elevator at the hospital, not knowing that moment would change everything. Daniela was already inside. When our eyes met for the first time, it felt like love at first sight. We didn’t exchange a single word that day, yet somehow we both knew our paths would cross again. As days passed, we began seeing each other more often in the hospital hallways. Simple greetings turned into laughter and playful jokes, and before we knew it, a beautiful friendship had formed. In 2023, our connection grew even stronger as we began texting and truly getting to know one another. At the beginning of 2024, Noah shared that he had received a new job opportunity and would soon be leaving the hospital. On February 1, 2024—his last day there—we knew we couldn’t let that chapter close without beginning a new one. That night, we went on our very first date at Tacos Al Carbon. Even though we already knew each other, we both felt how different that night was. We were nervous, excited, and completely ourselves. We quickly realized how much we had in common, including our shared love for going to the gym. Soon, working out together became part of our daily routine, and without even realizing it, we were making plans every weekend. Getting to know each other has been nothing short of a blessing.
