We were both out at Michaels II Cafe(now closed). I spot him from across the room. A friend I was with knew someone who I saw talking to Matt so, I went up to him and asked him to be a wing man. It’s been history ever since😊

How he pulled off the perfect engagement 💍 I’m well aware it’s nearly impossible to surprise me I absolutely hate surprises but this was one I had to let happen! Our absolutely amazingly wonderful friends were in on the plan. I may have caused them to pull out their hair a little cause like I said it’s impossible to surprise me but, they DID it! I did have a weird woman’s intuition but I attribute that to how in sync Matt and I are. We truly are two halves of a whole. So, how did he ask? I got home to a beautifully decorated proposal scene. It was beyond picture perfect! I walked down our stairs and was greeted by our amazing pup Odin who had a proposal of his own with my mothers pre-engagement ring from my father who is no longer with us. The most handsome man I will ever set eyes on was patiently waiting. He described us to a tea and asked me to spend forever with him I said “of course” but being the pain in the ass that I am I said wait can you ask traditionally so there’s no confusion to which of course he says “will you please marry me”? Yes he said please I thought it was cute too 😊. He presented me the most beautiful ring that has hidden rubies so it’s special to us! Most importantly what he presented was a man who loves me through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Matt is always telling me we’re a team and I can’t wait to continue committing to that for the rest of my life.
