When should I RSVP?

Answer

As we're organizing multiple events for our wedding celebrations we ask that you RSVP as soon as you can so we can organize with our vendors. However, the deadline is 13th of April 2025. If you have not RSVP'd by this date we will have to count you as a 'no'. Please refer to our "Schedule" page where you can RSVP to each event!

What time does the ceremony begin?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 13.00. You can arrive by 12.30, but please do not arrive any later than 12.45, to ensure everyone is seated and ready by 13.00.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding day dress code is summer semi-formal. Light, breezy, and festive. Think flowy dresses, linen suits, and a touch of midsummer magic. Most of the day will be spent outdoors, so be sure to bring your favorite knit or anything else to stay warm throughout the evening. Scandinavian weather can be unpredictable this time of year!

I thought your wedding day was on Friday since the first event listed is on that day. Is that correct?

Answer

No, our wedding is on Saturday, June 21st. However, we’re hosting a relaxed welcome lunch on Friday for those who’d like to join us before the big day. We’d love to see you there, but the wedding itself will be on the Saturday!

Is the ceremony and the wedding reception at the same adress?

Answer

No, our wedding ceremony will be at Klintebjergvej 37 in Klint and our wedding reception will be at Nykervej 5 in Sjællands Odde.

Will there be parking at the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, free parking will be available at the ceremony with a parking attendant on-site to direct you, and spaces will be available until 2:30 PM, so please ensure you retrieve your car by then.

How do I get to the ceremony and back?

Answer

We have arranged transportation for all our guests, ensuring that everyone has a seat for the journey to the ceremony and back to the reception. If you have been assigned an extra passenger in your car, you will have received a notification. If you don’t have a car, you will have received information about who you are traveling with.

Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?

Answer

Yes! Almost everything we will be serving is vegetarian. If you are vegan or gluten-free, or have other dietary restrictions, please mention it when you RSVP to one of our events, and we will make sure you have a meal that suits you.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, there will be a break before we gather at 16:30 for the reception at Villa Strandgaarden. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a drink and have some time to relax before the evening festivities begin. The night will include a delicious dinner, heartfelt speeches, plenty of dancing, and lots of love.

What’s the best way to share wedding photos?

Answer

We are using the Dots Memories app to collect and share wedding photos. You’ll find a QR code on the physical program you receive at the ceremony, which will take you directly to our album. We would really appreciate it if all guests take the time to upload their photos there, it means so much to us to relive the day through your eyes!

How do I get to the location with public transport?

Answer

Public Transportation from Copenhagen to Sjællands Odde Take a regional train from Copenhagen to Holbæk Station. From Holbæk Station, take Bus 560 towards Nykøbing Sjælland and get off at Okkerbjergvej (Vesterlyngvej). At Okkerbjergvej (Vesterlyngvej), transfer to Bus 561 towards Odden Færgehavn and ride until Overby Lyng, Stenager (Oddenvej). From Overby Lyng, Stenager (Oddenvej), it’s a 20-minute walk to Nykervej 5, Overby Lyng, 4583 Sjællands Odde. If you are not coming from Copenhagen download "Rejseplanen" where you will be able to find a route from wherever you are.
