David: Good Life Cafe, officially was our first time meeting Dani: (laughs) Yes! It was in passing, we were celebrating my mom's birthday. That was February 2020, you and your partner were dropping in to get a bite to eat while you were working and saw Yvonne. The first time we formally met was online January 2021. The pandemmy had us swiping right and left (laughs). I saw a picture of Pepsi and she looked just like my childhood dog, Wolverine. David: I knew that girls like dogs, so that was the reason I put it up there! Dani: So you set a trap and I fell for it? David: Absolutely.

David: We need kids. That's going to be our legacy. I want as many as Dani will give me! (laughs) We hope to have at least one girl to spoil and one boy to carry on my name. Dani: We will likely have three, God willing. We're aiming for Fall or Winter 2026.

David: Me, I initiated our first kiss which opened the door to us dating.

Dani: Whew. We travel a lot. We hope to hit every continent together. David: Let me see- 1. Louisville 2. Clarkville, GA 3. Austin, TX 4. Denver 5. Lake of the Ozarks 6. New Orleans 7. Grand Rapids 8. Vegas 9. Puerto Rico 10. Cancun 11. Orlando 12. Memphis 13. Nashville 14. Turks and Caicos 15. Nassau We have like 3 or 4 trips left this year, including the honeymoons.

David: When we got back from our first roadtrip together, Dani had a personal situation to arise that she thought would put a wedge between us. I had to let her know what time it was. She couldn't get rid of me that easily! Dani: You said that, verbatim too! (laughs)

Dani: Maybe a month into our relationship. I value my space, anyone that knows me knows that. I loved my apartment, it wasn't lavish, but it was my cozy refuge. I loved going home after a hard day at work. But when going home to my empty apartment started to pain me, I was baffled. Suddenly it hit me: It is because David is not there. I'm...in love. David: I'm not sure if there was one definite moment. I believe for me it was a culmination of things. But I knew pretty early on.
