Getting to Padua

Nearest Airports The closest major airport is Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE), about 53 km from Padua. Other nearby options include Treviso‑Sant’Angelo Airport (TSF) and Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN). Milan’s airports (Malpensa and Linate) are farther away but offer more international flights. From Venice: Direct trains depart from Venezia S. Lucia station to Padua every 15 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately $4–$24. Buses and ride shares are also available but slower. From Milan: High‑speed trains from Milano Centrale reach Padua in about 2-2.5 hours and can cost around $25–$120. Buses take over four hours.
