What documents do I need to enter Mexico?

Citizens of the United States, Canada, UK, countries in the European Union, Argentina, Colombia, and a few others can enter with a valid passport. US permanent residents can enter with valid resident card and passport (doesn't need to be US passport, just an unexpired one). If you have a visa from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and a few others, you can enter with that visa and a valid passport. If none of the above apply, you need a Mexican visa. 3.5 hrs from Merida. We would recommend traveling here if you have a few extra days pre/post wedding and want to see some gorgeous beaches. You will have to travel to Merida for the wedding events.
