During the fall expect cool mornings, with lows in the 50s-60s and highs in the 70s. We do get the occasional rainy days during this season, so pack accordingly. We suggest keeping an eye on the weather as we get closer to the date in order to be prepared!
Our church is traditional compared to some others, so we ask that you come in your best semi-formal/formal attire. For our special day we request that all our guest show out for the occasion! There is no need to change between the ceremony and reception.
We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, that will promptly start at 5:00pm.
Yes! We absolutely love your big families and would love for them to be a part of our special day. All invites will be included in your invitation, so if your child is invited to the big day, they will be included in your RSVP count, so please accept or decline for them as well.
Absolutely! Cocktail hour will have light hors d'oeuvres and dinner will be served subsequent to the cocktail hour. There will also be an open bar so please consider ubering to the venue if you plan to drink. Please reach out to me or Austin if you are a vegetarian or have any allergies we should be aware of.
For our ceremony, the Church is a short 20-minute drive from Briscoe Manor. Our reception venue is in Richmond, Texas - about a 20-minute drive from Sugarland. As this is a populated area, we would expect Ubers or other services to be readily available for you to get from the hotel to the wedding ceremony and to the venue. Please note there will be bus transportation from the venue to the Houston Marriott Sugar Land Hotel for guest staying there at the end of the night. The venue allows guest to leave their car overnight until 11:00am Saturday. Please let me or Austin know if you intend to leave your car overnight as there is a form to sign at the venue.
