Our FAQ page is here to help you plan your trip, get the most out of your stay, and make sure you have a seamless, fun, and memorable experience celebrating with us. What airports are nearby and what is the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

The closest airport is Cancun International Airport (CUN), about 40 minutes from the resort. Transportation details can be found in the Travel tab on this website.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved a room block at Fairmont Mayakoba, where all celebrations will take place. You’ll find the booking link and rates in the Travel tab on this website.

You can RSVP in the RSVP tab on this website. We kindly request your response by April 1, 2026.

Are children welcome at the wedding events?

Answer

We kindly ask that our wedding events be adults-only. While we love your little ones dearly, we hope you’ll understand our decision to keep the wedding activities child-free so everyone can relax and fully enjoy the weekend. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Are babysitting services available at the resort?

Answer

Yes. The resort offers professional babysitting services for guests who may need childcare during their stay. Availability and booking details can be arranged directly through the resort by emailing MYK.Kidsclub@Fairmont.com.

Are additional guests or plus-ones permitted?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and planning considerations, we are only able to accommodate the guests whose names appear on the invitation. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

What can I do between wedding events?

Answer

There are many wonderful ways to enjoy your time in and around the resort. We’ve created a Things To Do tab with recommendations for activities both on-site and nearby to help you make the most of your stay between wedding celebrations. You can email myk.concierge@fairmont.com for assistance in booking activities. Let them know you are part of the Sabrina Valldejuly and Daniel Alicea Wedding for ease of booking / discounts.

Can my dietary restrictions be accommodated for?

Answer

Yes. Please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies in the RSVP section when prompted, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Is the distance from the ceremony to the reception walkable?

Answer

Yes. However, we’ve arranged shuttle golf carts to comfortably transport guests from one location to the other, so you can relax and enjoy the transition between events.

What should I wear to the Ceremony?

Answer

The wedding is black tie. We invite guests to dress in formal evening attire—tuxedos for the gentlemen, and floor-length gowns or elegant formal dresses for ladies. While the ceremony will take place in an outdoor lawn, the reception will be held indoors in a ballroom, so we recommend keeping comfort in mind when selecting shoes and layers.

What should I wear to the Sunset Cocktails?

Answer

For the welcome cocktail, we’re hosting a “white party” at sunset on a rooftop. Guests are invited to wear stylish all-white or mostly-white attire. Think chic and festive, but comfortable enough for an evening on a rooftop.
