There is a welcome party at Acre Distilling on Friday, October 2nd starting at 7:30pm. Details were sent in the invitation and also listed in the Things To Do page of the website.
The festivities on Friday are totally optional! You can skip the welcome party and go to the wedding, or come to both if you are available. We’d love to see you the whole weekend, but understand it’s not always feasible!
Your invitation states if a plus one is permitted!
We have multiple hotel blocks in both Lake Worth and Forth Worth. The names and details for booking are in the travel section of the website. The welcome party on Friday and after party following the reception will both be in Fort Worth (to keep in mind when booking hotels)

The entire event is mainly outdoors. The ceremony is uncovered and the dinner will take place outside under a large wraparound porch. The bar and bathrooms are inside the small house located on the venue. Temperatures will likely be between 65-85 degrees. As we all know, this is Texas so that could change at the drop of a hat. Please plan accordingly for comfort either way!
The wedding colors that the party will be wearing are varying shades of burgundy, amethyst, olive, and sage. It is always nice for the girls to know this ahead of time to plan for it!
Yes, there will be an open bar with two signature cocktails and various selections of spirits, wine, and beer.
We request to abstain from pictures during the ceremony itself, but everyone is welcome to video and photograph the rest of the evening. We will make sure any wonderful pictures that are captured during the ceremony are sent to anyone who is interested!
There is a TCU football game on the wedding day. If traveling around DFW, please keep this in mind.
We will be having BBQ with potato salad, green beans, and salad. Bring your bibs!
We understand life happens. If you need to change your RSVP at any point, please reach out to 903-271-4416 for assistance.
The venue is wheelchair accessible to all areas. There are a few stairs from the ceremony to the table area, but also a ramp around the side if needed.
