This is a really special place with a great view and lots of inspirational things to read as you walk around. This was also part of our first date.

Columbine Memorial

This park includes a beautiful hiking trail that is relatively easy and fun for the whole family.

Lair o’ the Bear Park

This fantastic pizza place has locations in several locations in Colorado. If you're ok with a beautiful drive through the Rockie Mountains, I would recommend the Idaho Springs location for an excellent Colorado experience.

Beau Jo's Idaho Springs

If you're looking for some good Mexican food, this is a great place for a decent price.
