Fernando and I met at work and were instant Best Friends. He brings joy to every occasion simply with his presence. He is forever prepared for a celebration... I mean, this is the guy who brought a bottle of champagne and cups for everyone to my surprise engagement! He has known Danny and I from the start, when we were just close friends and he has watched us grow through our relationship. I can't imagine anyone else marrying us. Danny and I both love him to pieces!

Jessica and I have been Best Friends since third grade. We've always maintained a close friendship regardless of our distance. She is a brilliant entrepreneur, loving wife, nuturing mother and an all around amazing person. She's always been the friend I run to for advice in all situations and she tells me what I need to hear, not just what I want to hear. There is no one else more suited for the job of Matron of Honor and she is going to rock it!

Kirt and I met freshmen year through mutual friends, later on we became roommates and best friends. We spent a majority of our time working on little projects whether it was the chicken coop or our project vehicles. We also both enjoy the desert and camping. I'm happy to have him as my Best Man.

Lauren is not only one of my Best friends, she is my chosen sister! We met when I started working at Palomar Hospital. We soon became roommates and then close friends. Over the past seven years (three of which we lived together), she's become my sister. No one knows me as well as she does (besides my mother), down to my little nuances. While we live too many miles apart, we are in constant communication. We have traveled together, cried together, laughed together and grown together. She has a childlike spirit, absolutely no filter and brings me so much joy. I can't wait to grow with her throughout our lives.

Vinnie and I met later in high school, he was the wild one of our group and still is. We also lived together for a period of time and did at lot of growing up together. We've spent a lot of time climbing, going on camping trips and snowboarding. We've been through good and bad times but always remained brothers.

Molly and I met at work when she took a travel assignment in our ICU. I sat down next to her one day, and told her "We're going to be friends" and she's been stuck with me ever since! She left for a bit on a few travel assignments but I conned her into coming back to San Diego and now we live a block apart from each other. She's the queen of irish goodbyes, demanding JayZ from DJs and karaoking Salt n' Pepa. She's a great source of entertainment and gets me out of my own seriousness with a quickness and also has an infectious laugh.

Brandon and I met in high school and became better friends after school through rock climbing. We've climbed, camped and snowboarded together. He was there when I broke my pelvis snowboarding in Big Bear. We still get together to rock climb, as much as our bodies permit (I'm getting old).

Quennie and I met at work and became fast friends. She actually brought Danny to my Birthday trip where Danny and I first hung out before becoming close friends. She is an absolute ray of sunshine! She's what I like to call a funsized package of personality. I'm pretty positive every person she's met has instantly become her friend because she has the kind of warmth that makes people gravitate towards her. She makes me laugh without even trying and is the best kind of travel companion. She's adventerous and forces me to be so as well.

Matt and I met through our best friend fiancés (Lauren). We’ve hung out a few times and will now spend a lifetime together growing as chosen family. He’s a great guy and we both share a fondness for whiskey and travel. While we all live far from each other I look forward to our mutual trips together with our growing families.

Brandi Kunkel

Brandi and I met at work as well. It's true you become quite the family when you work in healthcare. You are with each other in and out of work and that truly creates a lasting bond. Brandi has one of the kindest souls and an absolutely contagious smile. She's a sewing and crafting master, interior designer and all around comedian. She will break out into an improvised rap or dance routine, making everyone laugh so hard that your face and stomach actually hurt. She brings so much joy and creativity to our group and I am so lucky to call her my friend.

Kevin and I met through Tania. We actually met on the first camping trip that Quennie brought me to. Kevin is a fun and laid back personality. We went on a snowboarding trip to Tahoe and share birthdays in the same month. He's a great PTA (physical therapy assistant) and all around awesome guy!
