Finding love in the height of a global pandemic is not for the faint of heart. Despite the difficulty, two naive 22 year olds created Hinge accounts. In August of 2020, Ilana and Daniel both liked each other's profiles. Little did they know, the mutual likes would turn into the start of their happily ever after.

On September 21, 2024, Ilana and Daniel celebrated their four-year anniversary with a special dinner at Harbor House. But Daniel had a little surprise up his sleeve. When they arrived, the restaurant "just so happened" to say their table wasn't ready yet (thanks to a little pre-planning from Daniel!). So, they took a stroll along the pier behind the restaurant, a quiet spot with views of the city skyline. As Ilana admired the city views, she turned around to find Daniel down on one knee, holding out a ring with the sweetest smile. Ilana said yes to forever. The newly-engaged couple strolled back to Harbor House, to a magical dinner celebration, now not just for an anniversary, but for the beginning of a beautiful new chapter together.
