We’re getting married!!

Daniel and I met in April of 2012. We met at our workplace, although, I hadn’t began working there yet. Daniel was super shy when we first met, and hardly talked to anyone, even after I began working there. We began chatting here and there, but never expected anything from it. Once we began to get to know each other, there was no looking back.

We took a weekend getaway with our families to Pine Mountain. During our trip, we had planned on taking family pictures of us- our daughter, him, and myself. Little to my knowledge, Daniel had something much more special planned! He was working with my mama to make a shirt for Brayleigh, asking me to marry him! After we had taken a couple pictures of the 3 of us, Daniel’s mama got Brayleigh, to put her shirt on, while Daniel and I took a couple pictures together. She was brought back out, when mama said she had another idea. She placed Daniel and Brayleigh in front of me, snagged a couple of them with me in the background. She then moved me to the front of them. I still hadn’t saw her shirt by this point, so mama walked around behind Daniel and Brayleigh, then asked me to turn around. Daniel was on his knee, Brayleigh on his knee with a shirt reading, “Mommy will you marry my deddy?” Of course, I said yes! Daniel said he had only planned on asking me, but loved the idea of including Brayleigh in our special moment! This made our proposal, so much more special, to me! I don’t think either of us would have known that 6 years ago, when we first met, we’d have a perfect little girl and be getting married!
