If you're flying in from out of state, first let us thank you for making the journey! Your presence means a great deal to us. From Our Vendor: If you have guests flying in, there is Stewart Airport about 30 miles to the South, Albany 60 miles north and of course all NYC metro airports (La Guardia, JFK). Additionally, Newark Airport in Newark NJ is also just as close, if not closer than some of the NYC metro options.

The Hudson Valley is a popular getaway area in the fall! Lots of people like to come up to view the foliage, and our wedding shares the same date as New Paltz University's Parents' Weekend. To accommodate this, we've blocked 28 rooms at the Hampton Inn in Kingston NY for Friday, Sept. 28th and Saturday, Sept. 29th; the group rate is $219. Travel Note
If you choose to fly into either of these, you have plenty of options to get to the Hudson Valley! If you don't want to rent a vehicle, we recommend the Metro North Railroad. You would cab from your respective airport to Grand Central Station (LaGuardia is far shorter!), and take the Metro North Hudson Line up to Poughkeepsie. It's the last stop on the line, and a direct trip, so don't worry about missing your stop. If you fly to Newark, take their AirTrain to the airport's Rail Station, and use their service to Grand Central. From there, follow the same Metro North directions! Rental cars are also an option. We recommend scheduling your landing outside of rush hour times to make your exit out of the city swift and painless. If you're feeling luxurious, Majestic Transportation Services provides Airport Car Service to and from any NYC metro airports.
Travel Note
Stewart is a small airport that is going to be your most direct option to come see us. It can be more expensive because fewer flights end up routed through there, but it's going to be simplest way to make it to the Hudson Valley. As our venue pointed out, Stewart is only about 30-40 miles from any of the towns that are viable to stay in. Taxis and For-Hire services like Lyft are available at the airport and through the mobile app respectively. There are also car rentals available at the airport, as there are with any airports. There is sadly no public transportation to get you closer to your hotel. All of the bus, train, and Amtrak lines only run to and from NYC.
