Have you spent your whole life looking for a speakeasy inside of a laundromat where you can also play pinball? Of course you have! Well this is the place.
Please stroll on through to the back of this pizza shop past the silver door into Ask for Janice for a chic speakeasy cocktail bar. Also, if you need a slice, grab one on the way in because Upside has one of the best.
Go for that Turkey at Gutter's lanes. A dive bar meets bowling alley with great vibes and just across from McCarren Park.
Grab a latte and peruse the items in this hyper-local grocery meets coffee shop.
If you are not old, like we are, and looking for a late-night party this is the place to go at night. They've got DJs and we're told it always turns into quite the rager. If you are old like John and I then you can stop by earlier in the day for great cocktails, great bartenders, and great vibes.
John's favorite bar. That's it.
If you just want to take a nice stroll and browse some cute shops, West Street not only houses the place we're tying the knot but it's also a quaint little stretch and home to some adorable shops. There's a spice shop selling greenpoint-made spices, a record store (in the very place we will be trying that aforementioned knot), a coffee shop, an apothecary, ceramic shop, axe throwing, and just off it some of Greenpoint's hottest restaurants (including 21 Greenpoint & Bank's Tavern owned by Bill Murray's son) so check it out!
If you're looking to up your record collection, this is the place to go.
An amazing women-owned brewery and beer hall with a great selection of beers and sours. Great space and they open early too if you want a great space to grab a coffee till beer time!
