Our story began like many young, hopeless romantic couples- on a Bumble, a common dating app for singles in recent years. As my seemingly endless search continued, I casually stumbled across a handsome young man seated high in a thrown wearing a large fur coat. Myself, not knowing "Game of Thrones" costume attire, took a brief moment to admire the handsome thought, then quickly realized that I could not have a animal-hating, egotistical man as my boyfriend. I then swiped left, removing the what-could-have-been man from my life for the next 6 or so months until he reappeared into my que on Bumble. I took a second look, and as I scrolled past that same first throne picture, I revealed photo after photo of this adorable man posing with animals and his beautiful grandma (Hi Mama!) and realized that this guy was a total cutie. I messaged the animal-loving thrown-seated man and sure enough we had a date scheduled for the next week at a local gem- Candle Light in. Our first date was spent talking non-stop for a full three hours. We didn't look away from one another once- something I had initially thought was so endearing and sweet ("This man couldn't take his eyes off me!") but later found out that he was so nervous he couldn't look away (lol). At the nearing of our date, Dan being the gentleman he is, walked me to my car in the quiet parking lot. As I turned to say goodbye, Dan stepped towards me and gave me my last first kiss. Since then, we realized how similar we are in what we enjoy in life. After multiple trips, vacations, quality family time and being out in nature, we realized that our lives are only better with one another in them.
