How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The Loblolly gate and driveway are directly off 319 South (Thomasville Road). The venue is just over the Georgia/Florida line on the Georgia side. If you are coming from Tallahassee, they are about 10 minutes north of Chiles High School. You will pass the sign that says "Welcome to Georgia" and then take your 2nd U-turn, drive about 300 yards, and turn right into their driveway. Loblolly Rise is off the southbound lane of Thomasville Road and has white fencing with a Loblolly Rise sign out front. If you pass the Texaco and Turner's furniture, you've already gone too far. If you're coming from Thomasville or Cairo, you will turn directly into their driveway without making any U-turns. If you pass the sign that says "Welcome to Florida," you've gone 1/2 too far. Will Uber come to Loblolly? Getting one out here is easy, but not as reliable to get back. Carpooling is a great idea!

Where do I stay?

Answer

The venue is almost halfway between Tallahassee, Florida, and Thomasville, Georgia. While you are welcome to stay in either location, we plan to offer a shuttle from the venue back towards Tallahassee. Any informal or formal events surrounding our big day will occur in Tallahassee. We have secured a block of hotel rooms with Hampton Inn & Suites Tallahassee I-10-Thomasville Rd! To book a room at our special rate, please use the link provided under the "Travel" tab. FYI, there is an FSU home game on Saturday, October 11th, so hotels, Airbnbs, and Vrbos may fill up quickly.
