Will and I met in July of 2022. We were supposed to go to Taste of Chicago, but the lines and heat made us decide to seek sanctuary at the closest bar for drinks instead. We talked and sipped at the Palmer House Hotel lobby until it was time for dinner. We celebrated our first anniversary in New Orleans with great food, music, and historic tours. We moved into our apartment in Lakeview, and added our cat Calypso to the family. Our second anniversary was celebrated with a cruise to the Bahamas, where we swam with pigs on the sea shore, snorkeled with sharks, and won big at the roulette table 😉 Will proposed on Valentine’s Day 2025 on the riverwalk. We had dinner at Joe's Seafood afterwards and spent the night at the Palmer House hotel! On the night of our engagement, we got to sit and have drinks at the very same bar where we first met. Amidst wedding planning, we bought our home in Rodgers Park, and are loving exploring our new neighborhood. The addition of our new pup Chili, has certainly kept us on our toes!
