We recommend flying into San Diego International Airport (SAN). It's close to downtown for anyone who would like to spend some time in San Diego, and only a 40 minute drive to the VRBO for the weekend!
Travel Note
We are inviting all of our guests to spend the weekend with us at our VRBO with space for 24 guests to stay. If you would rather have a hotel room or be closer to San Diego during your stay, no worries! We've provided some recommendations below.

Carlsbad is a darling beachfront town with a lot to offer for dining, shopping, and beach days. The Holiday Inn Carlsbad is about 22 minutes from the VRBO for the reception and 42 minutes from the Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala for the ceremony.

Another Carlsbad option, the Hyatt Place San Diego/Carlsbad is approximately 21 minutes from our VRBO and 45 minutes from the Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala for the ceremony

Liberty Station is a charming part of San Diego with restaurants, art galleries, and artisan shops housed in an old Naval Station. It's close to the Midway and easy to get to other parts of San Diego. It's a 1 hour drive from the VRBO with traffic and a 20 minute drive from the Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala for the ceremony

If you want to stay in the heart of San Diego, near the Midway, Little Italy, the Zoo, and everything else San Diego has to offer, then this is the right location. The Homewood Suites by Hilton is 15 minutes from the Mission Basilica de Alcala for the ceremony and 40 minutes from the VRBO for the weekend.
