Flight
Cleveland Hopkins is definitely the most convenient airport to arrive at because it is about 10 miles or 20 minutes from the city. Akron-Canton can sometimes have better deals but will take you at least one hour to get to Cleveland. If flying into or out of Akron-Canton, getting your own rental car is probably the best option because there are no efficient transportation methods between the two cities. Either way, I recommend setting alerts through Kayak.com or Google Flights to find the best prices!
Train
From Cleveland Hopkins airport, using RTA is comparable to driving times. Just grab an RTA ticket which takes you right through downtown all the way to University Circle. Tickets range from $2.50/one way to $11 for a 2 day pass.
Hotel
Right in the heart of downtown Cleveland! Just around the corner from East 4th Street with lots of bars and restaurants! The rate is $145 a night (plus tax) and is guaranteed through August 23rd.

House Or Rental
If you are interested in reserving your own lodging, Airbnb has lots of great options with a wide range of prices. There are condos downtown or larger houses in places like Ohio City or Tremont.
Travel Note
Both Uber and Lyft are efficient ways to get around the city. Fares typically cost $10-15 and can be split among multiple people. Just download either app and put in your info!
Travel Note
If you want to see the city on bike, download the app "SoBi" or go to the website and create an account. Bike hubs are common downtown but become more scarce as you move out. It costs $7/hour and you can pick up or leaves bikes as you please!
Travel Note
Cleveland Metroparks offers a river taxi to go across the Cuyahoga River. In 2018, the taxi was open until 9pm on Saturday and was FREE! Will update when it opens again in May.
