Katie is Dani's cousin--not by blood, but by a family legacy of love. Katie and Dani's grandmothers grew up on the lower east side together and become life-long best friends. Not not only did their children grow up together, but their children's children did, too! Katie and Dani have known each other since birth--they have gone through every stage of life together. From the childhood years at the rainforest cafe, to the teenage years as mall rats, to the college years partying together, to our young adulthood figuring out how to navigate life. They have been there for each other though everything--the most incredible moments, as well as the most difficult. Their love and support for each other has been one of the most incredible gifts that g-d has given them. Katie is not just an incredible cousin, but an overall incredible person. She has so much care and empathy for others, and always shows up when you need her. She can instantly take any awkwardness out of a room by telling one of her many crazy stories and keeping the conversation alive. Her love shines through and through, and everyone in her life is extremely lucky to have her.
Mike DeMilio
Best Man
Mike is Vin's younger brother, aka: best friends at birth. They grew up together skateboarding, playing ice hockey, and making music. Vin and Mike grew up in Franklin Park together at the dead end of Delar Parkway. Mike would hangout with Vin and all of the friends around the neighborhood every day. They would skate around town drinking green tea and grabbing snacks from Quickcheck. They played in a band together called Almost Autumn where Mike was the lead singer and Vin was on Drums. Their two friends Lou and Rob played bass and guitar. Mike went on to move to Nashville to pursue music further where he now he is a singer/songwriter. Mike and Vin have still remained close although now living in different states. Despite living in apart, Mike and Vin have remained close--their bond strengthened by shared memories and a mutual drive for personal growth. They maintain regular mastermind calls where they catch up, inspire each other and exchange ideas. Mike is an incredible younger brother and Vin is so lucky to have him!
