Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Dani Lunsford and Tim Dailey
A lot of our family is traveling to Cincinnati to be here with us on our special day. Here are some fun things to do in the area! :)
Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden

3400 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220

This was me and Tim's first date! I grew up coming to the Cincinnati Zoo and it is amazing! The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is the second oldest zoo in the United States, founded in 1873 and officially opening in 1875.

Newport Aquarium

Newport Aquarium

1 Levee Way, Newport, KY 41071

We had our second date here! We loooove the aquarium it is such a blast! There is a bunch of things to do in Newport so you can make a day of it! (park at the parking garage, same address at the aquarium) Newport Aquarium welcomes your family to discover the wonder of an underwater world located in Newport, Kentucky right across the river from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. SEA thousands of the world’s most exotic aquatic creatures as you waddle with playful penguins, meet a rare white alligator, be surrounded by sharks and surprised by smiling stingrays. Encounter thrilling adventures like the first-in-the-world Shark Bridge, where you can cross inches above a tank full of sharks on a rope bridge.

Cincinnati Museum Center

Cincinnati Museum Center

1301 Western Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45203

If you only have time for one thing this is what I suggest!! Cincinnati Union Terminal, home to the Cincinnati Museum Center, offers a variety of activities, primarily exploring its diverse museums (History, Natural History & Science, Children's Museum) within the stunning Art Deco building, experiencing films at the OMNIMAX Theater, visiting the Holocaust & Humanity Center, and admiring the architecture and mosaics. You can learn about Cincinnati's past and walkthrough an immersive experience of the time!

BB Riverboats

BB Riverboats

101 Riverboat Row, Newport, KY 41071

We took Tim's parents, Jean and Scott, on the BB Riverboats and they loved it! It's very relaxing and you get great views of the Cincinnati skyline! Inspired by the Queen City's deep and enduring bond with the Mighty Ohio River, Ben Bernstein, along with close friend and industry pioneer Betty Blake, set out to transform the way we see the river and the city with a new opportunity to experience the sumptuous class that evokes the romance of the riverboat era. They envisioned a journey that would make memories and magic with cruises steeped in style and comfort, with the addition of ever-changing views along the river.

The Blind Pig

The Blind Pig

24 West 3rd Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202

We had to recommend a bar! This is a 5 minute walk from both stadiums downtown so, would be a good option if you want a beer and some bites on your downtown adventure! Neighborhood roadhouse with pub grub & local craft beers, plus weekly events, TVs & a rooftop patio.
