Our mutual friend hosted a costume party to celebrate her birthday. Dani went as a witch and Thom as a wizard, cuing Thom's opening line: "I see you got the memo about the pointy hats." We got coffee the following weekend, and the rest is history!

While we did not book a hotel block due to our small out-of-town guest count, our home is a convenient ten minutes from downtown Durham, which has many hotel options. In fact, our dinner spot, NanaSteak, is on the same block as the Aloft Durham Downtown.
All guests will be able to select from a limited preset menu with vegetarian/vegan options available. The meal is three courses with non-alcoholic drinks included.
No, but there will be bar service available for those who wish to have individual tabs.
