Steven and I met at the UPS Store down the road from my parent's house when we were 19. He worked there full time and I came back to work every Summer/Christmas break from school. We became friends very quickly, always enjoyed joking around together at work, listening to music together in our cars after work, and kept in touch over the years while I was away at college. We honestly never thought this friendship would turn into something more. We both watched each other date other people over the years. Then finally 6 years later at age 25, we were in the same place at the same time. I messaged him one day in August of 2017 thinking we would catch up for a few minutes and that would be it! Little did I know, it was the start of our journey! From that day forward, we were inseparable. He asked me to be his girlfriend on my back porch October 18, 2017 right before we went on a romantic date. He told me he did not want to go anywhere without me being his girlfriend first! I said yes without hesitation. On June 8, 2019 (the night before Steven's 27th birthday), he surprised me and proposed in front of all of our friends & family at my parent's house. Once again, I said yes without hesitation. To say we are happy and excited is an understatement. Steven is my greatest blessing and I'm so grateful for our perfect timing! We cannot wait to celebrate our love with everyone we love! Thank you for celebrating with us!
