Question

Where exactly should I park?

Answer

You will park at Bannockburn School: 2165 Telegraph Rd, Bannockburn, IL 60015. Overflow parking is in the next lot, at Bannockburn Village Hall. The venue is about a 7 minute walk from the parking lot. A shuttle will be making trips back and forth. If you are getting a ride, feel free to be dropped off at the venue itself, which is located at 1600 Audubon Lane.

What should I wear?

Answer

The most important thing to remember is that you will be walking on grass! Please wear comfortable and safe shoes (no heels!). For dress - while this IS a wedding, we want everyone to feel comfortable! Think somewhere between garden and cocktail attire.

Will the food be safe for my dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes! All appetizers and dinner items will be gluten free and nut free. There are vegetarian and kosher options. Desserts will be labeled!

When will it end?

Answer

The reception will officially end at 11 pm.

This is an outdoor wedding...but we're in Chicago! What is the backup plan?

Answer

Ideally, the ceremony will take place in the backyard, in the open. Cocktail hour will be in the yard and on the deck, and as it gets darker we will move into a tent for dinner, dancing, and more. If the weather looks significantly less-than-ideal, the whole evening will take place in the tent.

Answer

Check out the "Travel" section of the website. Hotel blocks are listed there! However, there are also many other hotels in the area.

Is this wedding 420 friendly?

Answer

Yes! However...please do not bring any supplies with you. We will have everything you need, and a designated spot to enjoy it!
