We Tied The Knot!

It all started on one fateful afternoon after a Christmas dinner. We were both looking for something to do with our evening and somebody suggested maybe we do something healthy and to give you guys a hint there it wasn't me, Dani has always been the one with the healthy suggestions. So we went hiking to work off the Christmas feast and on that first date I knew I was instantly falling in love. It's been said that "when you know you know" and that saying never made any sense to me until I met Dani because I knew then that this was the woman I would marry and luckily for me she felt the same way! Things kicked off from there and we really tested our relationship on a 2 1/2 week trip to Japan less than a year after dating. For those of you who might not have traveled with your partner together, I would highly suggest it. It either brings you closer together or farther apart so it's a great test. For us, it showed us even more that we were supposed to be together as we tackled the complex country of Japan together and came out even stronger afterward. This last year after moving in together was another sign that we were the perfect match. The Covid 19 pandemic has been rough all around, it gave Dani and I the chance to grow even more together as we both were spending all day every day together since we were both sharing an "office. With our recent marriage, we have decided that perhaps a wedding isn't really us as neither of us likes being in the spotlight very much and are not much for planning which is a poor combo for a wedding. So in lieu of that, we eloped which worked for us since we knew we wanted to be married. We will be having a fund here if you wish to contribute to our honeymoon which will be to Guatemala in December. No pressure to do so though and we are just happy to share our story with all of you!
