We met on Phillip' s first day working at Amazon.com/Fresh. We made eye contact and a spark was lit without us fully knowing it. Months later, around Christmas, I was teaching a group of Fresh associates how to gift wrap. Out steps Phillip, and I immediately lost focus because he was just sooo cute, and I was nervous! We spent the rest of the day laughing, making jokes and getting to know each other a bit. Great start! About 7 months later, I was thinking of applying for a transfer to Massachusetts and posted on Facebook about my thoughts. Minutes later, I receive a message from Phillip, telling me I can't move because my "story wasn't finished here." Boy, was he right!

I took Phillip on vacation to Seaside, Oregon for his 25th birthday. We had a hotel on beach for 4 days. We spent our days playing Pokemon Go, meeting new people, and getting drunk on the beach while making sand castles. We got so so sunburned. On our last night we both agreed to sit on the beach and watch the sunset. We found this beautiful secluded area away from people. As always I write something cute about me and Phillip, this day it was "DD ❤ PG". A couple minutes later, Phillip asked me if there were anything about this weekend we could change. There wasn't much I would change. Then he pulled out the box and turned to me and said "Are you sure?" I see the ring and he asks "Will you marry me?" and instead of screaming, I replied with a super high pitch " Reeeeeaaalllllyyyy?!?!?! YES!!!!" It was a magical night!
