Trains
Trains from Rome to Florence can be booked at the linked website "click view". Tickets can also be purchased from Trenitalia (google for website). There is a train station at the airport that offers connecting trains to the high speed rail station. When you land plan for about an hour for passport control + luggage. To find the train station, just follow signs for "Trains/Stazione Ferroviaria" it should take about 5-7 minutes to walk to the station. Book a train to Florence Santa Maria Novella (Firenze SMN), choose direct or 1 easy transfer in Rome (Termini). Tickets purchased with the start point of Rome Fiumicino Airport typically include the ticket for the connecting train to the high speed rail station. If Roma Termini is selected, it does not include the ticket for the transfer train from the airport to the high speed rail station. We recommend selecting Rome Fiumicino Airport. Travel time is about 2 hours. Taxis can be called/found easily at the train station in Florence.
Shuttle

A shuttle will take everyone from the villa to the Church for the ceremony. The shuttle will also take everyone back to the villa after the ceremony.

Directions to villa ***Please Read***
If you rent a car with a Sat Nav or GPS on board, you can insert the Latitude and Longitude details for Vimorolo which are 43.527915076471466, 11.139025955288272 Important Information: For your convenience, we have included the villa’s GPS coordinates above. Please keep in mind that depending on your GPS settings (such as fastest or shortest route), it may suggest smaller or less suitable roads. We recommend using the GPS as a helpful guide, but kindly also follow our written directions to ensure the smoothest and most enjoyable journey to the villa. From Firenze airport (Florence Airport) to the Superstrada exit: Exit from the airport and you will find immediately a traffic light where you have to follow the green sign that takes you to the motorway "A 1" and "A 11" and go on the right. Drive for about 5 kms till you find the fork for "RomaBologna" named "Firenze North". Follow the signs for "A 1" direction for "Roma". You shall be doing 16 kms of motorway which should take you about 20 minutes depending on traffic. You shall pass through the hills that surround the city of Florence, past the exits for "Scandicci", then exit the motorway at "FIRENZE Impruneta". Exit the A1 motorway at "Firenze - Impruneta" and take the superstrada for "Siena" that is immediately on your right after the motorway exit. Drive on the superstrada for approximately 16 kms until you get to the exit of "POGGIBONSI NORD". To Property: Drive on your right towards "BARBERINO VAL D'ELSA". You will drive on the road named "SR 2". Follow this road in the direction of Barberino Val d'Elsa for about 7km. Once you reach Barberino Val d'Elsa you shall see a sign for "PETROGNANO", turn left here and follow the road for approximtately 1.5km until you see a brown sign "CASALE CELLI" on your left. Turn into the white road and continue until you reach the gated entrance. You have now arrived.

Rental Cars & Taxis
If renting a car, please make sure to get a international drivers permit through AAA and please make sure to be aware of the local rules/regulations for ZTL zones to avoid hefty fines. Please also read the directions travel tab. There is ample parking at the villa. If taking a taxi, they can easily be found at the train station in Florence. Taxis can also be easily called to the villa to get around and travel back to the airport/train station upon checkout.
