Question

Where and when is the wedding ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be September 20, 2022 on O'ahu. We are getting married at Secret Island on Kualoa Ranch with only the wedding party and immediate family present. Unfortunately, the internet reception on the island is insufficient to livestream the event. While we are bummed you won't be able to join us virtually in real time, we will have our ceremony available for viewing at a later date. Thank you for your understanding!

Where is the reception being held?

Answer

Our venue is at Profile Event Center, located at 2630 University Ave SE, Minneapolis MN 55414. It is located on the outskirts of the University of Minnesota campus in the Prospect Park neighborhood. Now listen up because here's where things get confusing! Profile Event Center has two halls: Casablanca and Diamond. Our event is being held in the DIAMOND Hall, but there will likely be another wedding occurring at the same time in the other hall. Unless you wanna scope out the competition to see whose party is better before committing to ours (we get it, commitment is hard), join us in Diamond Hall by entering the building from its South entrance off of Delaware Street.

So the reception is downtown... Is there going to be parking?

Answer

Surprisingly, yes! And it's even free! There is a parking lot located kitty-corner from Profile Event Center. From University Ave SE, take left (north) on SE 27th Avenue and immediate right (east) into Northstar Professional Center parking lot. ***You MAY park overnight, but must be out of the lot by 10am***

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have hotel blocks at two hotels, which can be found under the "Travel" tab. If you want to party with us all night, I'd highly recommend staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, as it is within walking distance of the venue. No need for an Uber, no need for a DD!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP on our website through the RSVP tab. Please let us know by September 1st, 2022 or risk the wrath of Nicolette Keller.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do not have a registry. Instead, we are asking for donations to the establishment of the Eliana Winterbauer-Light Memorial scholarship in honor of our friend. Learn more at www.rememberingeliana.com We are happy to accept monetary gifts and submit them to the scholarship fund, or you may wish to donate directly at https://give.marquette.edu/eliana-social-justice In the event that the goal fund is achieved for the scholarship, monetary gifts will go towards our honeymoon fund.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a date/"plus one" at this time unless your invitation specifies otherwise.

Will there be transportation provided between the hotels and reception venue?

Answer

No, but there is free parking very close to the venue (see above for details)! In addition, one of the hotels we blocked off rooms at is just a couple blocks away and easily walked to.

What food will be served?

Answer

There will be light appetizers served during cocktail hour followed by a dinner consisting of a buffet with both meat and vegetarian items. If you have a food allergy or special dietary restrictions, please note this when you RSVP or reach out to Nicolette Keller at (612) 597-4178 so we can make accommodations and ensure you don't leave hungry!

Is the reception inside or outside?

Answer

The reception will be indoors, but there is a patio if you need some fresh air from all the dancing you're gonna be doing!
