Dani and her family grew up going to "the shops" each year. They are cute and quaint shops and restaurants that sell anything and everything you can imagine. Fudge and ice cream, bathing suits and tshirts, beach trinkets, home decor, jewelry and more! Within walking distance of other restaurants, shopping (The Cotton Gin, Kitty Hawk Kites, OBS Surf Shop, Farmer's Daughter, Wave Pizza and Duck Donuts). Check out their website for complete list of shops and nearby stores.
One of our favorite spots to eat!!
So yummy! And a beautiful view of the sound. Lots of outdoor seating space and outdoor lawn games.
We will be getting married on the island at the festival park. However, there is more to see than just our venue space. There is a reconstructed period ship from the 1500s (no...we are NOT getting married on the ship....though apparently people do that). There is also an outdoor museum that teaches you about the history of Roanoke Island and the settlement site. We all know Justice loves history.
