Cherokee Street
Authentic mexican food on the west side of the neighborhood. Great antique and thrift shops on the east side. Check out El Bronco for tacos and Bluewood Brewery or Earthbound for a beer.
Benton Park
Explore the park or visit some of the great bars and restaurants. Benton Park Cafe is great for breakfast or lunch, and if you're craving a nice dinner, check out Frazer's or Peacemaker. For drinks, go to Venice Cafe. Quirky, cash-only bar with great live music. If you're going anywhere while you're in St. Louis, go here.
Soulard
Our home base. Find good food and drinks at Stew's, Jack Nolen's, Pizzeoli, or basically any corner. You can't go wrong (if you're not too picky). On Saturday mornings, the Farmer's Market is the place to be. If you've got time to kill, check out Anheuser Busch! Take a tour or just see the clydesdales.
Lafayette Square
Our fancy neighbor. Great restaurants here if you want to go on a fancy pants date. 1111 Mississippi, Polite Society, and POP are all great spots. Square 1 and Sqwires offer more casual vibes. The park is beautiful if you're feeling like a stroll!
