We swiped right! Jon and Dani met on Bumble, a dating app in the fall of 2016. If you're familiar with Bumble you know that matches expire after 24 hours and the girl is in control of starting the conversation. Dani got distracted (not shocking) as her parents were coming into town that evening. She forget to message Jon and the match was about to expire. Jon used his match extension (you only get one per day) on Dani which reminded her to message him. Jon likes to remind Dani of this, frequently, and does not believe her side of the story.....not like it matters now.
