Travel Note
The rumors are unfortunately true: traffic in Seattle can be horrible. It’s also true that parking is a challenge. Golden Gardens is a public park that gets very busy on nice days in the summer, and we don’t have any designated parking. Please give yourself plenty of time to find parking and walk to the venue if necessary. Or, consider taking an Uber. The park closes at 10:30 p.m. Our party is planning on moving out of there before that (see reception schedule below), but if you drive and choose to leave your car in the park’s parking lot, please be aware that they close the gate from 10:30 pm - 4 am. In addition to the venue traffic, there will likely be traffic on the freeway because they'll be shutting down a couple lanes on I-5. It will also be SeaFair weekend. Keep an eye (and ear) out for the Blue Angels and give yourself plenty of time to account for additional traffic while getting to the venue!
Travel Note
Friendly reminder that there will not be a ceremony. We are truly just going to eat and party and hang out. A general outline is: 4 pm: Cocktail hour. There will be an open bar with beer, wine, and spirits. 5 pm: Dinner. We’re having a taco bar with vegetarian options and some snacks! 8:30 pm: Last call. The parks department wants us out of there by 9:30 pm. We’ve rented picnic shelters near the venue where folks can watch the sunset, finish their drinks, and wait for their Ubers and/or the bus to the afterparty.
Travel Note
You heard that right, we rented a bus to take people from the venue to the afterparty at Conor Byrne. It can hold about 30 people at a time, so there might be time to wait and take pics by the Puget Sound as we shuffle people back and forth. Feel free to drive (if sober) or take an Uber if that suits you better. You’ll be responsible for your own drinks at the afterparty. If you originally thought you wouldn't come but you’re having such a good time and you don’t want to say goodbye, it’s never too late! Anyone can come regardless of RSVP because we’ll have Conor Byrne to ourselves.

While you're here for the weekend we highly recommend exploring the city! We've put together a guide of some of our favorite places in Seattle on the Things to Do in Seattle tab above!
Travel Note
First and foremost: we are so grateful that everyone is taking time out of their summer to make it up to our corner of the country, so please do not worry about gifts. Your presence is enough! If you just can't help yourself, you can contribute to our honeymoon (in Paris!!!) on the Registry tab above.
