Dani and Drew matched on Hinge. – Dec 2021 While Drew was preparing for his US road trip, the two talked almost every day. – Feb 2022 They finally met in person at Lou Malnati’s in Buffalo Grove, where Drew learned Chicago pizza is more than just deep dish. After that, Drew continued his trip and Dani went on her own way, too. – Mar 2022 Drew couldn’t stop thinking about Dani. Work – or maybe fate – sent him back to Chicago, and he reached out a feeler. For Dani, the feeling was mutual. – Oct 2022 Another Chicago trip followed, and this time Dani and her pups – Pancho and Vita – came back to Bend with him and Timber. – Mar 2023 Soon after, D & D and pups packed into the truck and drove to Chicago, spending the summer in Dani’s apartment downtown. – May 2023 By August, the five of them set off once more, back to Bend where they made home. – Aug 2023 Last December, after months of planning with Eric, Donna, and Loren, Drew proposed to Dani.
