We're Getting Married!

We first met in high school, though only in passing during our freshman year. It wasn't until our sophomore year, when we shared the same English class and had a mutual friend, that our story truly began. We instantly clicked and started building our relationship. I started to go to his football games, and soon we were spending time together outside of school with our friends, slowly becoming a bigger part of each other's lives. Then, our sophomore year homecoming approached and we accidentally matched. During the event, he had built up the courage to finally ask me to dance. We had gone as just friends and left as something a little more than friends. From then on, we were inseparable, and on November 23, 2019 he officially asked me to be his girlfriend! What started as a simple high school friendship turned into a love that has grown with us through every season of life- high school, college, long-distance- Now we are so excited to begin the next chapter as husband and wife!

For our six year anniversary, Damian decided to take me to San Diego. On the day we got engaged, we drove up to SD, had breakfast at Old Town, then went to the zoo. After the zoo, he insisted we go to Balboa Park. I was hesitant and just wanted to relax my feet but he promised me there was a beautiful garden. When we arrived and walked up to the spot, I couldn't believe it was for us. My face went white and I was shocked. I didn't realize I could be surprised like that. He got down on his knee, forgot everything he was going to say, asked "will you marry me" and I said "OMG yeah?!" We are so excited to celebrate with you!
